China's most famous martial arts tradition was developed by Buddhist monks at Shàolín Sí, 80km west of Zhèngzhou. Maybe you have seen some Shaolin Monks near where you live, because they travel all over the world to show their art. If you get up early in the morning you can see a lot of practising by the monks.
