Groningen has been my hometown for two years. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. It is the largest city in the north of the Netherlands, and is often forgotten by most tourists. It is definatly well worth a visit, it has lots of canals, and nice little streets with old buildings.

I also used to study for a couple of years in Groningen. Four to be exact. Great city, loved my time there. Met my wife there ... :)
