Everywhere we went in Pakistan people offered us chai. I loved it! The chai is never the same, everyone seems to have a slightly different recipy. If you have the time, go and have chai with the locals. It is a change to chat with them and learn a little more about Pakistani life. I never met locals with bad intentions, in 2001 the Norhern Areas were unspoiled, people were sooooo friendly!
