The Race Horse Capital of the US | Lemon Drop Kid race horse |
When I think of Lexington, KY I think of Race Horses. So we took a trip to Lexington to visit "horse country." We've already been to Keenland race track -- and it is beautiful. This time we visited one of the stud farms and also the Kentucky Horse Park. This was a great trip.

Isn't Ashland a beautiful place? I love it. Too bad many of the old trees were destroyed. Used to live in Lexington & love it far better than Cincy. Lived in apts behind the Red Mile & watched them exercise the horses from my living room window of a morn. | Johnnys_Girl Sat Oct 14, 2006 15:38 UTC
