When I think of Lexington, KY I think of Race Horses. So we took a trip to Lexington to visit "horse country." We've already been to Keenland race track -- and it is beautiful. This time we visited one of the stud farms and also the Kentucky Horse Park. This was a great trip.

IF you like horses I predict you'd love visiting. The horse farms are beautiful.

Isn't Ashland a beautiful place? I love it. Too bad many of the old trees were destroyed. Used to live in Lexington & love it far better than Cincy. Lived in apts behind the Red Mile & watched them exercise the horses from my living room window of a morn.

I'll have to try Furlong's. Lived near Lafayette myself and would love to have some good cajun! Agree with the Arby's. Got to be one of the nastiest I've been to. Thanks for stopping by :)

Nothing better than free points to use:-) Did you do any singing at Smilies? The distillery sounds a good visit but those horse farms/parks sure sound lovely.

The horse farm looks really beautiful. Didn't know that you're a horse fan!
