Hakodate is the 3rd largest city in Hokkaido - probably only in size. I had initially thought the city would be bubbly and such but I was so wrong. Its really hard to spot any lives or activities on the streets of Hakodate in the evening. Most of the stores close around 7 pm and the only form of activities you'll probably find is in the convenient stores. Even so, the convenient store may only have a maximum of 5 people in it =S. Even in the day, you don't see that many people as well.. weird place.. but in fairness Hakodate do have some beautiful places..

• Cons:Not for someone who thrills for urban night life
• In a nutshell:Place that sleeps at 7pm
