This is a picture of a pool at a hotel (can't remember the name) in Papayette, the large city on the island of Tahiti. The pool is filled with sand, and the "beach" surrounding the pool feels real. Notice the guy snorkeling in the pool :-) ... and notice how the pool "drops off" into the ocean ... kind of an illussion. This was a cool place! In the distance is the island of Morrea, which is just a quick trip from the island of Tahiti. |
