Talacre Travel Guide: 7 reviews and 15 photos

Taking its name from the two welsh words 'tal', meaning 'end', and 'acrau' meaning 'acres', the small village of Talacre lies in Flintshire on the banks of the Dee estuaary.

It is the site of the Talacre Beach Caravan Park, and a short walk from the Presthaven Sands Holiday Park.

There are a couple of pubs, several games arcades, a chip shop, a sweet shop and some tourist shops selling beach items like buckets and spades, but it is mostly caravans and holiday homes.
