"The End Of The Road" Prince Rupert by RoscoeGregg

A Mixture Of Each End Of Things

Prince Rupert is a great small Canadian City. Located at the end of the long road inland it has kind of a wild west feel. Some of the bars are pretty rough and the people work hard to scrape out a living. Still there are some very refined spots as well.

A Maritime Type Town

This is a town that looks west to the sea. There is a monument to lost sailors. The opening day of salmon season is something to behold. There is some good fish to be had at a few of the restaurants. Do not miss the Tim Hortons for fried bread dipped in sugar.

There Is A Softer Side

Prince Rupert has a more cultured side. From the restaurants and shops of Cow Bay to the town garden this is a nice place to unwind. Reminds me a bit of the east coast of the U.K.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:It is at the end of the road.
  • Cons:It is so far from where I live.
  • In a nutshell:Rough and smooth all in one package.
