In this small town on an American byway is where hon Brown lived when he became radicalized to the point of violent insurrection which arguably was the fuse that ignighted the American Civil War.

Standing her and visiting the sites puts you in the surroundings of the place where the long road to the end of slavery took it's most decisive turn.
