July 2001. (All members of my Family) Waiting for The Cortina Cruise boat at the dock on Ramsey Lake in the heart of Sudbury. Daughter and husband and 4 adopted children from Tucson Arizona, Daughter and husband from Toronto , sister from Point-des-Cascades Que. Daughter who lives in Sudbury, myself and Simonne from Joliette Quebec.
There are 33 lakes (full of fish) in the area of Sudbury . This is one in the heart of the city called RAMSEY LAKE We are embarking on the Cruise Boat CORTINA for a 2 hour tour of the lake.
Sudbury is the largest center in Northern Ontario. The REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF SUDBURY has 162,000 population. The CITY OF SUDBURY has 93,000 app.
It is known as the NICKLE CITY because of the nickle and copper mines exploited in the area.
It is one of the sunniest cities in Ontario.It's pollution level is lower than TORONTO and Hamilton. THERE ARE 90 LAKES IN THE REGIONAL BOUNDARIES If you are a fisherman or love boating etc. it is the place for you
- Pros:Great cottage and nature area.
- Cons:Employment here is impossible NIL
- In a nutshell:A visit is worthwhile

very nice coverage of a gr8 city. we also had lot of fun during a trip in may. the lakes outside of the main city are lonely but beautiful. we stayed at Lively, center of winter snowmobiling.
