I tried to send this on 30 Nivember, but I don'Y think it made it. I'm trying again.

 I'm happy that we are friends. I wish I remembered more about Belgrade than I do.{t's bee more than 30 years since I was there, but I remember that it was lively and beautiful.  The Art Institute and the architectural boat tour are two things I would be most likely to suggest to visitors. Probably what I I like most about Chicago is Lake Michigan; I spend much of the summer in it and if I had met you, whether or not you like to swim, I would have taken you to my favorite swimming place It's a sort of special place even if you don't like the water which is warm enough for swimming only in summer. I live across Lake Shore Drive, a street with six lanes of traffic, form the lake and have a wonderful vire from my window.  A bit about me. I'm 81 and have been retired for quite a while. I had a lot of different jobs; my last one was for the US government census bureu.I've been a widow for 12 years and have 3 grown children and 1 24 year old granddaughter. I don't travel as much ask used to,but I'm plan ing to go to either Jamaica or Martinique in February,  I don't know how much people in other countries follow US politics; our election is finally over and I think all of us, regardless of how we voted, are feeling relieved--the campaign seemed to go on forever. I voted for Obama; he was my senator before he ran for president and his Chicago house is not far from where I live.  I don't look at VT very much, so if you want to m reply to my ramblings, it would best to send it to my email address: rocky29@me.com

I've been looking at your Travel Pages Jasmina and it looks as though you like Autumn as well. It would be nice if you could write something more about the places where you've taken those pictures so that I can understand more of what it's like there. Lovely photos.
