It is situated on a hillside overlooking the Fraser River with spectacular views of Golden Ears Mountains and Mount Baker. Downtown New West, with its sloping streets, the quay and heritage buildings reminds one of San Francisco.

The Pen Cafe is now open for dinner and the food is still great and reasonably priced
