Kafe Palacinkarnica Amica opened its doors in the spring of 1995. It was established by Mirjana Boskovic and her daughter Larisa. Mirjana gave up her career as an architect to persue her passion for crepes. The mother and daughter team spent a long time agonizing over the name for their creperie. Finally they settled on the name friend, Amica. Years have passed and Amica has become an integral part of Skadarlija. They even expanded and opened another location "Amica 2" in the city centre.

Amica offers a variety of crepes, savory and sweet. The savory crepes are first filled with ingredients and rolled and then fried in batter for a cripsy crunch taste. My favorite crepe is Cokolinka-a chocolate filled crepe.

Some highly recommended savory crepes are:

~ Gljivinka - stuffed with mushrooms

Znak Pitanja is the oldest restaurant in Belgrade. It was built in 1823 as a property of Knez Milos Obrenovic. It was constructed by the Greek builders in the Balkan style. First it was called "Kod pastira" (At the Shepherd's") in 1878, then, in 1892 "Kod Saborne crkve" (At the Cathedral Church), but this was soon removed, because Church authorities frowned upon this name. As a temporary solution, a question mark was placed above the entrance, which has remained until today.

This unique looking restaurant is located on a boat floating on the Sava River. On cooler days you can be seated inside but on a sunny day I recommend sitting out on the deck. The restaurant serves some 100 plus specialties. They also have a large selection of domestic and foreign drinks.

About Mali Princ

Mali Princ (the Little Prince) is a sweets/cake shop in Belgrade. The place is absolutely unique and their treats are so good. The decor is a little over the top as far as I am concerned. The whole place looks like a cute tea party setting with floral design covers for chairs and tables plus tons of bows. Mali Princ also has a nice courtyard where one can enjoy their piece of cake under the Belgrade sky.

Tri Sesira : Tri Sesira

Consists of a complex of very cosy farm-like buildings. Musicians regularly seranade the guests in the candlelight.

Favorite Dish: Anything off the grill is yummy! I'd recommend my fav CEVAPCICI!
