An escape to the mountains of Saudi

Trip to Abha was more of desperation than leisure, as I belonged to the very green cuty Delhi as compared to dry and dessert locales of Saudi. It was about a month I was here and I wanted to see some greenery again.

Someone suggested Abha and I coined the idea for a weekend escape to the place. Plan worked out and we 6 traveled just very next day.

A flight by NAS Air to Abha cost us around 179 SAR one way trip for each ticket. After reaching there we realized that being Eid holidays the town was completely shut. Rented a car and decided to explore ourselves.

For nature lovers, its an amazing place to be. Summers will be very pleasant here and winters chilly. Suit yourself with the kind of weather you like to be in.

Car we rented was Hyundai Sonata Embera for 130 SAR per day and rented a two bedroom furnished apartment for 200 SAR per day, all 6 stacked in it and had our budget control radars ON.
