Kota Jakarta - Jakarta

Jakarta , the capital and the largest city of Indonesia. has a big population then another city . Located on the northwest coast of Java.
Jakarta has a hot climate with daily temperature range of 28 to 37 celcius. Our National language is Bahasa Indonesia and we are really rich with a lot of ethnics who speak their own language like Javanese,Sundanese, bataknese, Betawi and so on.
Actually my hometown is in Sumatera island and I moved here in 1990 and get married here and staying in this crowded capital city.
For me , most interested thing that fill my life in this city is people that living in my surrounding and mostly keep in touch ... like you see this photo... Vegetable vendors ...everyday he will shoutttt " SAYURRRR " means " VEGETABLES " with a smile .. a good service sending the vegetables....
I am grateful that in this big city we are still can find a lot of the wet vegetable and meat markets.

Glodok is my favourite shopping area, located on the old town Batavia, could be reached by the Trans-Jakarta coridor 1 BlokM to Kota and stop at the Glodok.
Most of the vendors are Chinese and this is the biggest China town in Jakarta. You can find a lot of the Chinese Food there, it is a fantastic place for the one who come to the old Batavia.

Museum Fatahillah
Museum Fatahillah - Jakarta

Dutch architecture was completed in 1710 and once the museum took over in 1974 and offers a fine glimpse into the city's colonial past. Thirty seven ornate rooms display Dutch furniture and recreating the atmosphere of the Dutch era.
Another nice part is a wide square infront of the museum which is a place for people to sit and enjoy the old town view, rental for old style bike to go around the square.
Besides. there are others museum such as Wayang and Ceramic Museum as well as the Batavia Cafe which is wellknown of its food and beautiful interior.
