KO SAMUI

The Nora Tropical Resort & Spa

Our beach villa at The Nora
Koh Samui - This beautiful island off south-eastern Thailand is covered with coconut plantations and circled by palm-fringed beaches. It was once an untouched Mecca but is now well on its way to becoming a tourist resort. The most popular beaches, Chaweng and Lamai - both have good swimming and snorkelling but are getting a little crowded. The main town is Na Thon.
My main picture is of The Nora Beach resort and Spa. We chose this hotel as family members had visited Koh Samui on honeymoon, and recommended The Nora. Well......I was blown away. Beautiful, stunning, just everything about The Nora was more than we expected. We have even copied the pool tiles, and wooden deck at our own home in Johannesburg. The next project is a pagoda, just like at the Nora.
Our Bedroom at the Nora

The Nora

I know this should be on my Hotels & acommodation page...but I have already raved about it there. This was our bedroom. Beautiful wooden floors, very comfortable king size bed, dressing room and massive bathroom.
We WILL return to Koh Samui, and this will be our hotel of choice.

The beach in front of our villa.

You are given so much privacy when you book the Ocean Villa. You have your own private beach. Residents are not permitted to walk by your suite, unless they have also been acommodated in a ocean villa, not that we would have a problem.....but it is a nice special touch to your stay.
Roger cooling off.
