Mang Jun picked us up 8AM for the day tour. we first checked the Blood compact site then the tarsiers in Loboc..visited some Churches and Museums..passed thru the Man Made forest..visited Chocolate hills..ate lunch @ the floating resto ( i believe the best cruise would be with Riverwatch since at that time they had great food - squid, barbq, chicken, pansit, bangus, fruits (esp. manggang hilaw and bagoong), alot of kakanin, soup, etc. they charge 260 /person)..we then tried the hanging bridge..bought some pasalubong..then last stop would be the hinagdanan cave.
while doing the day tour, it's better if the windows are open instead of having AC on. (if it's not raining) the fresh air is worth it.
We were informed that Bohol also has another tourist attraction, the Python near the hanging bridge. However, we were not able to get the chance to check it out. There is also the virgin islands which they say is good however we didnt have time to check it out.
we stayed in Alonaland, just in front of alona tropical. their prices range from P1000 - 2000. it's really not expensive compared to other resorts and they have excellent facilities plus a large area if you want to hangout and drink. and you can pass thru the alona tropical's gate if you want to go to the beach.
we usually ate in Trudis place since their prices are almost half the price of other restos. Their chicken cordon bleu is excellent.
We transferred to a place in tagbilaran since our flight is very early in the morning and we don't want to risk missing it. it's chriscent ville hotel. their room is nice considering that their prices is not expensive. they also have a coffee shop which serves great iced mocha. the place is also walking distance from the BQ mall and other establishments and the Bohol museum.
if you're not with a large group and you are on a budget and you're staying in tagbilaran, you can go to panglao island in a tricycle. they only charge 200-250 from tagbilaran to panglao. and you can also get the driver's contact number so you can ask him to pick you up when you need to go back to tagbilaran.taxis charge atleast 400.
Some hotel websites are not really that honest when they indicate that they're near an establishment or a mall. Most of the time, you still have to walk a long way before seeing another house.
