Palmwoods - Montville Road Closed

Sunshine Coast Hinterland....On way to Maleny...maybe.

A lot of times we go to Maleny via the Palmwoods/Montville Road and come back through Landsborough. Makes a great circuit.If you are holidaying on the Sunshine Coast particularly in Bli Bli , Maroochydore or Mooloolaba areas you might think of doing just that as well. It gives you a chance to see Palmwoods and Montville on your way.

You might have been reading all our little town reviews and decide to explore!

So as you drive through Palmwoods and cross the first bridge you will see a 'detour 'sign. No need to worry the road up the Range itself..The Razorback.. has been upgraded and is no longer the rough, narrow,winding cow track it once was.

Once you are in Montville turn left and follow the road to Maleny. Lovely stretch of road.

There has been a massive slip on the main road and traffic is diverted via Hunchy Road to 'The Razorback'

If you are coming back via The Razorback you may have a little trouble finding where it begins...but it is there...keep looking...in Montville...near the school...see photo.
