"CIPRIAN PORUMBESCU" Ciprian Porumbescu by almogaver

Ciprian Porumbescu Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 9 photos

STUPCA, THE OLD NAME.

Ciprian Porumbescu is not the place to put in a travel agency to visit. Is only a long street, as usual in many romanian villages, and some other small houses near this street. But...is a place to see!. Ciprian Porumbescu was a music who give his name to the place. Before that, this was Stupca. And...why the change?. Ciprian was a great music, and he was who wrote the music for the Romanian national anthem. There is a museum at the end of the main street and you can also visit the house where he lived. In the cemetery there is his tomb with all his family

ENJOY EVERY MOMENT, EVERY CORNER

Is not necessary a big and historical city to enjoy a trip. Some places have something special to live. You only need open eyes and open mind

THE POTTERY

As in many other places in Romania, here you can find pottery, and different hand made things...

This lovely village is very important for all Romanians, but also for the whole music world: Ciprian Porumbescu was a son of this locality! Beautiful photos! Fam. Rauca
