Yes, we went to New Orleans at Halloween for our Honeymoon! It was truly a blast! This is a pic from the Halloween parade on Bourbon St....we got to watch a bit of it during our Haunted History Tour on Voodoo and Witchcraft. I would definitely recommend these tours to anyone...they are excellent! Our time in New Orleans started in a very romantic B&B in Jean Lafitte and finished in the French Quarter. We got to go on a swamp tour, a dinner cruise, a cemetary tour, a plantation tour, and a buggy ride around the French Quarter. Best of all, though, was the FOOD! Hubby and I tasted a little more of the local cuisine than was necessary, but it was all just SO GOOD! I am constantly thinking of things I forgot to put in here, so this will probably always be a work in progress, no matter how hard I try. I don't think anyone could ever truly capture all the worlds and experiences that New Orleans has to offer, but I will try to at least do justice to what I got to enjoy! |
