Strasbourg is very nice, you can spend a couple of days to visit the city. You should also circle the countryside of Alsace.
As mentioned in my France homepage, I chose Strasbourg as my Alsace anchor city. The Alsace region is located completely North-East of France, along the Germany border.
It is a magnificent region, renowned for its wines. Being at the German border, they changed side (unwillingly) 4 times I believe. This can be noticed in Strasbourg and most of Alsace too.
