Balloch

Balloch is on the Scottish torist route for a number of reasons. It is the gateway to, and administrative headquarters for the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. It is in a beautiful location; it has a good number of small hotels and guest houses; and it is under 25 miles from Glasgow making it a great place for a short break from Glasgow or as a first stop northwards. There is a large Visitors Centre, a Sea Life Centre, and some upmarket shopping at Lomond Shores. About 5 miles north is the conservation village of Luss. Balloch is also a centre for loch cruises. All in all, a great place to visit and a great place to live.
