Chateau Lednice

The chateau is recently under reconstruction, the left part. So if you can wait with the visit, just wait till August (I guess).

The heritage of UNESCO.
I study horticulture at Mendeli university, Faculty of horticulture in Lednice. If you see Lednice in its beauty, you will believe that i love to study here. And i even look forward to go to school :-)

This park is absolutely professionally designed and made. It is a large area, mostly joint with a close small town Valtice, called Lednicko-valtický areal . There are a lot of kilometers paths and a lot of stops with small castles, chateaus, monuments and so on. The best time to visit is summer and with a bike.

South Moravia is also wine area, so after long exhausting day just have some wine in local cellars or in any restaurants or pubs.

A Walk around the park

Lednice

Romantic, very well-projected park and gardens around the Chateau. To the close chateau neighbourhood belongs Minaret and a small castle Januv Hrad .

The park is composed of a clever system of a lot of ponds joint by little bridges, large meadows, hides a lot of magical corners. All the spirit made by plants.

Lednice

The areal is 283 km2 large, situated in southern Moravia, borders on Austria. It is the most picturesque part of the Czech republic. Lednice and Valtice are two centres of this area, towns with a population around 2000 people.
Both towns offer good service as accomodation, transportation or restaurants.

Ahoj, ahoj. We were once to the field trip with our excahnge class to this area and I really loved it. Wines were nice too. What a great place for studies. I must come back one day. Nice page of yours, Vesna
