"Amazing Aachen" Aachen by Veroali
Aachen Travel Guide: 502 reviews and 1,205 photos
This trip was too short, but i am happy that it happened. I went to visit my friend studying in Aachen and i spent there only 2 days. Luckily, he did not have to go to school, so he showed me around.
Our first stop was Cologne, then Aachen and last one Maastricht. Too fast and intensive, but i enjoyed a lot :)
This part of Germany so close to Neetherlands and Belgium, belongs to the most beautiful parts of Germany. You can see the architecture and life style similarity with Neetherlands. People are friendly and easy-going, which i always appreciate.
I am not really a sport girl, but there i liked it so much. Everybody use bikes and so the drives are careful. It is not common in the Czech republic, it would be dangerous especially in Prague. I became a fan of bikes, because it is clean, faster than public transportation and funny.
- Pros:Beautiful architecture and friendly locals

Beautiful sights in this town. The Rathaus is stunning in your photos, and the "Toys fountain"....so different and unusual! Thanks for sharing!
Great that you rode around Aachen by bicycle! So did I when I was there last spring. Also I rode up to the Three Countries Corner, which is where Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands all come together, just 5 km from Aachen.
This is a great page with wonderful photos! I wish I had gotten to spend more time in this wonderful little city.
