Jumping Around the Statue of Liberty! - Liberty Island

I had no idea that while the 12-acre Liberty Island is located in the Upper Bay of New York Harbor, it is GEOGRAPHICALLY in the territorial waters of New Jersey! Did you know that???

Well, no matter where it is, we had a great time visiting on a wonderful Sunday -- but it was really like going to an airline flight --- there was security that you have to pass that will last about 30 minutes (the guards were very good though at keeping people moving). But then, security is really essential nowadays and I did not see anybody complain...
