Just after midnight on March 18, 1996, 162 people died in the worst disco inferno in the Philippines and this was later called the OZONE DISCO FIRE.
The Ozone Disco was located along Timog Avenue corner Tomas Morato Avenue in Quezon City – a very popular entertainment area frequented by local celebrities due to its fine dining restaurant and bars.
Nowadays, you will still find lively entertainment in the form of karaoke bars and even lively gay bars such as Chicos, Adonis and Gigolo. So, if you are into the latter, this is the place to go.
