I did get to go around Lima after exploring Cusco and Machu Picchu. Unfortunately, I was already suffering from stomach cramps and diarrhea with fever on my last day, and had to take the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin which i did bring with me. I was not sure if it was from the artichoke salad which I had the night before coupled with the "pisco sour" cocktail that contributed to my ailment...
But, the diarrhea was almost gone by the time I reached Texas the next day...oh well, I still enjoyed watching the native Peruvian dances at the buffet restaurant...
And despite my worsening fever, I was still able to visit Pachacamac but had to refrain from going down the car by the time we reached the Temple of the Sun! I'll just have to come back next time!

So sorry to hear you were sick during your visit here. For me, there's nothing worse than being sick when you're away from home! Still hope you enjoyed what you were able to see while there.
yes, I just got sick on the last day and By the time I was on American soil (Texas), I was fine :))))
