Here's my wife and I visiting Cebu, Philippines - before we had our twins.
Cebu City is also a major metropolis, but smaller than Manila and less crowded. I enjoyed the beaches a lot, and went jogging on the sand, swimming in the sea ---- and before I knew it, I was already getting a heat stroke! I thought I could still manage it, but I just collapsed by the time we arrived at another resort (called Plantation Bay). So, just a warning for you "balikbayans" (Filipinos living abroad visiting Philippines) - you might think you are still used to the humidity, but you are not!
But still, we enjoyed staying at this wonderful place - and I still can feel the way I carried my wife in the picture above and how the rocks felt as I was trying to climb them....great memories!
