"Badalona" Badalona by JaumeBCN

Badalona is the city where I was born and grown even if I have been living in Barcelona for the last 7 years. Badalona is a city with more than 2000 years of history. Founded by the Romans with the name of Baetulo was one of the most Roman towns in Catalonia. Due to the fact that the fortresses were demolished Badalona was destroyed by the Barbarians and didn't grow as Barcino (or Barcelona). In the XIX century the Industrial Revolution was an important date for the city and many industries take Badalona as their headquarters. Midst XX century due to immigration, Badalona keep on growing till now where more than 225.000 people live in the city.
