| Giraffe crossing the road in Mabula Game Reserve |
North of Johannesburg you will find Limpopo province (formerly called Northern Province). This province has the most well known tourist attraction: the Kruger Park. But it is also nice to visit the Waterbergen area. Here you will find lots of private game parks. These parks are not discovered by the large tourist crowds and offer so much more quiet relaxing and less crowded gamedrives. We visited Mabula, Mabalingwe, Welgevonden and Kololo game reserves.
