- Malaysia, visit the Malaysian MotoGP race in 1992 at the Shah Alam circuit, near Kuala Lumpur.
- South Korea, another stopover in 1992.
- Hong Kong, stopover on our way to Australia in 1994.

Japan

Japan is one of our favorite countries to travel to. First visit was in 1992, that year we were visiting the first 4 MotoGP races. The season started in Japan. We flew to Osaka and visited Nara, Kyoto and Tsu.
In 2001 we got a chance to see more of Japan, this time we travelled with a group organised by Djoser, a dutch travel agency. The route was along Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Takayama, Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
In 2003 we went back, this time to Osaka, Takato, Kyoto and Tokyo.

From here we flew to Lhasa, capital of Tibet. We also visited the following cities in Tibet: Xigaze and Gyangze. On this trip it was mainly tibetan buddhism we encounterd.
