It was not our plan to visit Pisa. We originally booked a trip to Florence. But, as you can read at our Florence page, due to a brake problem our plane was diverted to Pisa airport. We drove by bus from Pisa to Florence. That is how we found out how close Pisa really was to Florence. And we decided to take a train and visit Pisa on monday.
The leaning tower of Pisa is known all over the world. And although we had seen many, many pictures we were surprised how much it was leaning. Not being very prepared for this trip we found that most things Pisa has to offer are all together. And the rest of Pisa was rather dissapointing.
