Where I Was Born
While my parents were in the military service, I was born here in Eatontown. Actually I was born in Fort Monmouth but Eatontown was where we lived.
Revisited
In the 1980s, I revisited Eatontown to see how it had changed in the last 15 years. And it had changed. There were many more people; there was a lot of traffic; the housing track we had lived in was double the original size.
The playing field where we used to go was now a set of apartment buildings.
