The owner is rumoured to have committed suicide because he was forced to give up this magnificent structure....as kids, I was told that it was haunted with 'bat rooms.' There are rooms beautifully decorated and the garden is really relaxing.

Check out the Toronto International Dragon Boat race festival if you're there at the right time (Around the end of June) at Centre Island. We have 3 islands, take the ferry there. Great for relaxing, take a ride on a paddle boat, go rollerblading, picnic, beach there...
