"Paradise" Cape Maclear by Bisa1979

Cape Maclear is Amazing! It's a perfect combination of a village and a tourist spot. There aren't many tourists there (at least there weren't when I visited) but there is enough infrastructure that you can find a decent bed and a meal at a restaurant. Along side the couple of restaurants and the hostels is a village - complete with mud huts, locals doing their laundry in the lake, locals proposing, etc.

This is the view from the hostel that I stayed at - Gaia. It was a great place to stay. It's clean. The hostess is kind. It's cheap. And the location can't be beat.

• Cons:not the easiest to get in and out of - but that may be a good thing
• In a nutshell:Peaceful, wonderful, amazing
