Much More Than a Red Light District | 2009 International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta |
Angeles City suffered an image problem because of the red light district near Clark Air Base then.
With the turn of historical (closure of Clark Air Base)and geological events (eruption of Mt. Pinatubo), Angeles City has been given a "facelift". Today, Angeles is now associated with Clark Development Corporation, Clark Special Economic Zone, Nayong Pilipino sa Clark and the famous International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. |

| | Rise of New, Decent Deluxe Hotels Accompanying Angeles City's change of image is the proliferation of new, decent deluxe hotels within the Clark Special Economic Zone, as well as in the city streets near Friendship Highway. |
Cultural & Historical Sites Nayong Pilipino sa Clark, Clark Museum and Museong Kapampangan are popular tourist destinations. Local and foreign tourists go there to orient themselves on the glorious past of the Philippines and Pampanga Province. | | | Museong Kapampangan & Clark Museum |
