Unforgetable Joy Ride, Food Trip & Photo Shoot

It was one of those days...hubby was disappointed with the cancellation of their photo safari in Pagbilao and Padre Burgos. He really wanted to go so he hurriedly scheduled a roadtrip with me. He wanted to survey the road conditions to the areas where they were supposed to go for photo shoot. We also planned to look around for some possible places to stay in. (After a difficult sleep while camping in Anawangin, he couldn't be cajoled to camp by the beach anymore.)

Our eldest daughter got wind of our plan so she and grandson joined us. Since our plans were just to have a joyride and food trip, then find a place to stay overnight, either in Lucena City or Pagbilao, we brought only extra tees and shorts. The hotel we inspected at Lucena City was fine, but we were still hoping to check in at Silangang Nayon in Pagbilao. I was exchanging text messages with the contact person while on the road, but she said we really couldn't be accomodated. They had only four rooms, and were all occupied that time. Hoping that some of their guests might check out in the afternoon, we decided to go there just the same to have lunch at their famous floating huts.

As we made a turn to Silangang Nayon, hubby thought of checking the site of Pueblo Por La Playa, a beautiful Mexican-inspired residential resort which is also in the area. He had talked with the Marketing staff in the past and explored the possibility of us being accommodated as guests although we are not members nor sponsored by a member. Fortunately, Lady Luck was with us that day. There was no more villa/duplex available, but we could be accomodated at a Presidential Suite. We were toured around and upon seeing the Presidential Suites, the infinity pool and the beach, we decided to stay. We went back to Lucena City to shop for swimwear and sundress at SM. Our plans changed. We wanted to enjoy our weekend vacation at Pueblo Por La Playa. It was really love at first sight! It made our first visit to Pagbilao unforgettable.
