Pili is the capital municipality of Camarines Sur. As the seat of provincial government, it is the site of a 12-hectare Provincial Capitol complex. Aside from big institutions and regional offices built in this progressive town, Pili is the site of the Domestic Airport (Naga Airport is a misnomer), serving as gateway to Camarines Sur's tourist destinations like Penafrancia Shrine, Camsur Watersports Complex and Caramoan Isands.
