San Antonio is a 4th class municipality in the province of Zambales, formerly just a hunting site and resting place of hunters from the northern towns of the province. The mountains in this area of Zambales have many game/wildlife for hunting. Today, though, wild carabaos are an endangered specie so hunting/killing them is prohibited.

Today, San Antonio is more popular not as a hunting ground, but as the hometown of Pundakit, which boasts of enchanting mountains, blue seas, beautiful coves and islands and pristine beaches.
