Talisay is a small coastal town in the north-central part of Batangas Province. It has slowly shed off its image as a fishing village. Today, Talisay has become popular as a resort town. It is the most popular jump-off point to Taal Lake and Volcano. Along the coastline, you can find many resorts offering lodging, boat ride and tour of Taal Volcano.

We've always gone to Talisay only for quick road trips: the first time, for a joy ride; the second time to attend a clan reunion. Each quick road trip was memorable. The joy ride gave us an adrenaline rush, and our clan reunion gave us a better reason to enjoy the road trip to one of the resorts.
