Cordillera Inn: Old Spanish House Turned Into A Hotel

We stayed overnight at the Cordillera Inn Hotel and Restaurant, an old Spanish house converted into a hotel and restaurant. Hubby and I got the master bedroom with antique furnishings which initially elicited a wow when the door was opened, but when we got into the room, I had goose pimples. It's creepy, not for those who are psychically sensitive and physically weak...but sorry, I can't and won't elaborate. I won't recommend this place to friends and relatives; just my personal feeling and opinion

Unique Qualities: It's at Calle Crisologo so you can have a walking tour of the famous heritage site

Directions: If you travel by car, you can pass through Plaridel St. at the back of the Inn because Calle Crisilogo is closed to vehicles except "kalesas" or horse-drawn carriages

Grandpa's Inn: Unique Culturally Designed Beds Grandpa's Inn Review

Grandpa’s Inn is strategically located in the heart of Vigan. It is a residential Spanish house of the Donato Family which was converted into an Inn in 1979. It has 19 rooms in the hotel, and it houses the coffee shop Cafe' Uno and the restaurant Kusina Felicitas. It has now added three dormitory rooms and the restaurant Uno Grille in its extension at another heritage house of the Pilar Encarnacion-Tongson Family.

Grandpa's Inn has unique culturally designed rooms with beds inspired by the Kalesa (Horse drawn carriage), Karison(Carabao drawn farm Carriage) and Pasagad ( farm sleds).

The inn's motif will surely appeal to travelers who welcome non-conventional designs/motifs in the hotel bedroom.
