"Anderson SC" Anderson by SVHoose

Anderson SC is located in the upstate of South Carolina. It is a great little town to live in. Anderson is not a town booming with lots of activities but that is ok because there is so much to do close by.

Anderson is located off of Interstate 85 midway between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte NC. That gives you two large cities with unlimited activities. Anderson is also conveniently located near the Mountains and even the beach is a short drive.

If you want to stay local, then you have a choice on Lake Hartwell (in Anderson), Lake Keeowee in nearby Seneca, and Lake Jocasee just a short drive away.

There are many historical sites in Anderson County and the surrounding area. Anderson is know as the Electric City due to it's use of Hydro Electric Power via the Hartwell Dam.
