The Best Place on the Coast This little harbor town was made famous by Richard Henry Dana in his book, "Two Years before the Mast". The weather is unbelievable as the temp never varies more than 10 degrees over the course of the year. Two of the best beaches in California are Salt Creek and the Strands. On many days, from the Headlands, you can see either whales or dolphin right from the shore. And yes, at the far end of this photo is Doheney Beach from where the BEACH BOYS hailed from in days gone by. |
