Nice beach an good snorkeling and diving

Padangbai has a nice beach, Bias Tugal, walk over a hill south of the ferry terminal and quite good snorkeling at Blue Lagoon beach over a hill in the north (on that hill is Pura Silayukti temple, important for the Balinese but less interresting for tourists), if you dive there are several diving sites arround, and some decent restaurants.
You can see a lot of non touristic religiose ceremomies following the compicated Balinese calender.
Topi Inn is nice, free wifi at the northern end of the bay on the way to Blue Lagoon.

Kerti Beach Inn, don`t book online with them, if you just show up, there rates are probably under Rp 200000, same street as Topi Inn Jl. Silayukti a bit after the lcal boat pier.

Directions: Padangbai is in the northest of Bali, the main port for going to Lombok
Get there best from Ubud an Kuta by Perama shuttle bus, from Candi Dasa by bemo, from the Gili islands, Lombok and Nusa Pernida by ferry

White secluded Beach

There is nice clean beach, Pasir Putih about 5 km north of Candi Dasa (turn of from the main road to Amlapura at Bug Bug, very bad access road), no accomodation, only some warungs for simple food and drinks, no public transport.
