"JAMBI: Really Back To Nature" Jambi Province by olenx

Jambi province located on the east coast of central Sumatra and facing the straits of Malaka, Jambi shares borders with four other provinces in Sumatra. More than half of the province is covered by forest, so... it's an exhilarating place for adventure travelers and or active visitors. The most dense jungle in Jambi province located in National Park BERBAK on the east part of the region, the gate way to the Jungle is village Air Hitam Laut on the east coast of Jambi. I reach this place by publick transport, then water transportation via Jambi City.

I visit volcano Kerinci with two friends of mine, Mr Yande, and Abe. Volcano Kerinci
is the highest active volcano in Indonesia, located at National Park Kerinci Seblak.It's took us two days trekking from the last village Kayu Aro. Started the trek in the morning and spend one night camp on the way to the peak. On the way path, we met other two trekkers from Yogyakarta. From volcano Kerinci at altitude over 3000 m alt, Lake Gunung Tujuh was visible clearly like a mirror reflecting while light with 7 volcanoes circling it, amazing....

Lake gunung tujuh is the highest volcanic lake in South East Asia at elevation about 2,000 m alt. The Lake is surrounded by seven volcano's peaks providing an valuable view surrounding. I spend one night camp beside the lake, and explore the area on the next day.
