ZADAR – is a port situated on the coast of Ravni kotari (in nothern Dalmatia) and is an important centre of economy and it is also a cultural and a tourist centre. There are good road and ship connections with the islands, with Rijeka (226 km), Sibenik (73 km) and Split (156 km). Although Zadar was severly damaged in the war 1991.-1995., it has still preserved many valuable monuments and buildings. |

You may also find apartments for cheaper right by the water or within walkng distance in smaller towns. | alfaaesar Tue Aug 10, 2004 13:21 UTC Volim Zadar i Kalelargu i Rivu i Kolovare i Forum i ...... | A2002 Wed Sep 3, 2003 13:22 UTC Excellent page, Mima.
