My favorite place in the States, without considering friends, is Madison Wisconsin. We lived a couple blocks from the school, a couple blocks from a theater, a few blocks from the mall, and a block or so from two or three strip malls with food, stores, etc. It was nice!
The City is clean with VERY LOW crime! The people are kind of weird, lol, but it is just a really nice place to live. The schools? Excellent. I took a year of language and I learned twice as much then I had at any other school. James Madison Memorial is a nice school actually. |
Wisconsin Dells If you are ever in Wisconsin, you cannot miss the Dells. A beautiful area with lots to do--- several amusements parks and other entertainment within view of eachother!
For one of my birthdays, we went out on Duck boats- they give you a nice tour of the dells with a 'duck' which is an amphibious vehicle from the war. (which war? Don't ask me, I wasnt there for a history lesson) Ride in the front if you can-- its a long ride, well worth the money for the beauty and thrill of the plummets into the water and back out onto the land. |
