Lenin Statue - still a few around.
Atyrau is growing very quickly - people are very friendly, but very dangerous at night by yourself. Atyrau is one of the cities that borders both Europe and Asia. Pretty cool when you can have breakfast on one continent and lunch in another - just by crossing a bridge to the other side of town. Am heading back there this month. It was pretty cool in May, heard it can get hot in July!
