Schiplaken is the part of Boortmeerbeek in which I live. It's a rather small village located next to some nice and cosy places, such asthe zoo of Planckendael and the domain of Hofstade.

Schiplaken is a rather young town. (a little older then 100 year).

In 1914, Schiplaken was ons of the places where the Belgian Army fighted the Germans.

My place since 1997.

Our place

We moved into this house in 1997. In 1998-1999, we refurnished the ground floor and the first floor. In 2003-2004, we changed the roof, the attic and the garden. More pictures can be found on my homepage.

Ziet er goed uit Koen, dat huis in Schiplaken. Ik kom daar vaak , van de autobaan, , richting Elewijt Center. Rij dan via je dorp om de verkeerslichten, richting domein Hofstade te vermijden. Ik zal volgende keer een taske thee komen drinken.
