I went to Bologna primarily for the food. I didn't realize I would meet so many nice people. Even though my Italian is shaky everyone was very patient and kind to me and my husband.
I know that Bologna is considered to be the culinary capital of Italy, and it definitely does not disappoint. Restaurants, trattorias everywhere. Of course the best eats are at the small local places and we discovered as many of them as we possibly could. Mangia!
